I would like to turn off autopay and pay manually at the end of the month with my debit/credit card. I don’t see any options to turn it off

Thanks,

No I don’t plan on removing my debit/credit card info I just want to be able to manually pay it for one one month then switch back to autopay so that it takes my money out when I receive my disability cheque which is on the last day of the month. My auto renew was set to July 30th but I don’t get paid till the 31st so I don’t want the payment to bounce and have to pay extra fees. I plan on turning back autopay on the 31st of July.

1. Do as others said

2. Do you want to remove credit card too? There is a solution for that too.

3. Use the hybrid auto pay.

Hybrid:

I week before you have to pay. Pay 2 times the amount. Then on your next payment date pay one payment …, you can adjust that date to day the 15th of month and pay every 15th of month. You will always be one payment ahead. Keep in mind to adjust if you change plan amount or cash in points for a bill credit.

@DriiP , our plans were always 30 day plans so payment day would change so it wouldn’t be due on the same day but I see people now saying monthly which now means you pay on the same day every month, so it must have changed! I wasn’t aware of this change!

I’m on disability and we get our payments on the last day of the month I signed up on the 30th so the autopay won’t go through. I will reactivate autopay on the 31st. Thanks for the help!

Yes. Just go into the payment section to make the payment. You will have to enter everything from scratch each month. But note this....  you will NOT get your $2 auto discount bonus if you do this. Hence the reason I'd stick with the auto pay. I prefer that $24 a year in my pocket than Public Mobile...   no offense PM....   🙂

I think it's misleading wording. They really should have stuck with the old autopay term. You're toggling off the autopay capability. You can still deposit money into the account to pay for the renewal. This might even turn it back on. So turn it off again. Or use vouchers or use 611 or use real time payments.

If you're on the old rewards system then don't turn it off. Just make the manual payment however else and the reward will still happen.

@DriiP  You will need to top up the account with vouchers . Or change credit card info like pre paid visa .or your credit /debit card you have see if it works . But you can only use one credit card on file  . Unless using vouchers i think
