USA data usage

I just got the public mobile 100gb Canada USA Mexico plan, I went to the states today and I could not use data unless I turned on data roaming, does this mean I need to pay for the service, I shouldn’t have to turn on data roaming unless it’s not connecting to a partner service provider correct? Which service provider does public mobile use in the USA?

I've had my PM account since 2017 and I just leave data Roaming on all the time. You'll never get billed later for "overages". As a prepaid service, you only get the set amount of data included in your particular plan...once you reach that threshold, your data will just stop until next regular plan renewal.

hi @Richard6699

no worries, this is the right way to use data in US

it won't cost you extra.  It is just a device settings to allow your phone to use your non-regular network.

PM partners with AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile.  Your network will automatically connects to one of the 3 US networks after you turn on roaming
