Getting Old Benifits from old reward system

Can we not get the old referrals and bonuses in some way on this new system? Did public mobile just screw its old customers here?

All of what Handy1 and the others said is true.  In addition to that, is the seldom mentioned fact about the 5% reward part. Namely that the 5% applies only to the actual amount you pay for the service, not what the advertised 30 day billing amount is.

For example if you have one of the $34 plans you will get  $34 x .05% = 1.7 points a month.  Once you finally, (like months later),  accumulate the 15 points and redeem them against your bill,  you probably will be happy that it will lower the next bill to $19.

You will likely be less happy however when you discover that for the following month you will only earn  $19 x .05% = 0.95 points. This will happen every time you redeem the 15 points. Since every point now really counts,  this additional little maneuver on the part of PM acts to reduce your annual reward value even more from the old rewards.

As if what they did with the rewards plan wasn't bad enough,  they then proceeded to tweak it to make it even worse! Nice....

@Lucas_Mantel   It's of no benefit if you never use add-ons, but in addition to the $15 bill credit once you have enough points, you can also buy add-ons at a discount with points, starting at less than 15.

Also, PM offers occasional "Contests" that you can use points to enter. One thing to be aware though...PM will only let prize winner know if they won anything..nobody else. . See if you can find who the winners were in contest offered last winter...PM won't tell us who or if anyone actually won. Without some amount of transparency, the contests smell...fishy !!

If you're asking about the Holiday Bonus data and LD minutes from past seasons...they stay on your account until you use them up. The 150 Day Bonus data will stay until you either use it up or 150 days elapse...whichever occurs first. What is being affected is the Rewards program...others above have explained that in detail.

Unfortunately, the simple answer is No.

The new plan is not as rewarding, and requires customers to manually claim reward reductions to bill when they accumulate 15 Points or more.

@Lucas_Mantel  It’s terrible you no longer will get the $2 auto pay . Instead you get 5% back in points in plan spend . And no longer get $5 loyalty it will be replaced by 10 points a year . You friend referrals will still have same value but in points 1 point for each friend every 30 days . But now you have to pay full plan price then once you earn 15 points you can redeem $15 off your bill effectively costing you around $50 more a year . So yes loyal customers have been screwed by this unfortunately change of policy by PM
