So I just activated my account, the automatic system wouldn't allow me to transfer my old number so I had to activate with a new number and then port my original number. It seems to be working fine, but the "about phone" screen in settings still has the new number I activated with. Will that eventually update or is it stuck

If "about phone" does not correct itself, send a private message to a customer agent to fix. Include your account number and last 4 digits of your credit card in your message to verify your identification:

Yeah it seems to be working with the correct number. I've restarted the phone a few times, gonna wait a couple days and see if it changes.

So, if people call/text your old number, are you able to receive the call/text? If so, Try rebooting/restarting your phone and that display issue will probably correct itself. Good luck.
