Defective refurbished Iphone

Hi. I recently bought my wife a refurbished Iphone from Public Mobile, and it is defective.

How do I go about returning it to you for a replacement?

I no longer have the original box but can send it back in a secure way.

Contact customer support and give them the info that you can recover. The email used for the order, shipping address, your name, the order # ( if possible) and they will probably ask you for info from the payment card used for the order. You can also supply them with the transaction # from your card statement. Warranty repairs are usually assessed at your nearest telus store and either sent out for repair and you are given a loaner or replaced.

@Fletch   Just message them directly.  Explain the situation and see what proofs they are asking for

HI @Fletch   Sound like a screen issue

 

I think PM will arrange to have it fixed at one of the Mobile Klinik locations.  It is owned by Telus

 

Open the ticket and they will tell what to do next

No, it is more than a month ago, and I cannot recover the email I received from Telus when I bought it, so I cannot fill out a repair ticket. Bummer!

When you touch on apps or icons on the very bottom of the screen, nothing happens. It is a dead zone.

I researched on Internet and found a dozen or so fixes, but none of them worked. For example, on the App store, the search button is on the bottom right, but pressing on it does nothing, so I cannot download the apps I want since I cannot find them

Contact agent for return slip and instructions:

- Use the ticketing system for a faster response time (preferred method as Ticket is assigned and easy to follow up with CSA). Click Chatbot - Ticket and type ticket, then click on Contact Us, then click on issue you inquire about. Link for creating ticket will be presented. If ticketing does not work very fist time do the below.

@Fletch   Is it within a month?  you are ask for a full refund first and then re-buy

 

if it is longer than a month, of course, you will need to request for a replacement or repair.
