SIM port broken, is eSIM an option for my existing account?

My refurbished iPhone went for a swim and now sadly my SIM port isn’t recognizing anything. Is there any way to get an eSIM for my already existing account?

If you don't have much in the way of historical rewards, the only current workaround is:

1. port out your number; probably Lucky as they support eSIM
2.  activate a new PM eSIM account at PM
3. transfer your number back to PM

Be aware that you cannot transfer a PM eSIM account to a new phone with eSIM. You're forced to switch to physical SIM.

not yet.  I hope existing subscribers can migrate to eSIM soon, maybe before end of summer? hopefully
