When is the best time to get in touch with customer service? Try through out the day with no success. Is this the level of service to expect from Public Mobile? Is it even worth signing up except to cancel my plan?

Sadly, depending on what's broken and has to be 'worked on' or 'managed' around here, yes it can be hours to days before responses are received (though it's better than it was 2 months ago....)
Is it even worth signing up except to cancel my plan?
Once you're signed up and services are going, you're mostly good to go. Most may never need support assistance, and for whatever 'issues' which may arise, this Community can mostly get you through with pretty quick and precise work-arounds.

@Alyb1 Is this about activating without using the app, as in your other thread? Is there some reason you can't download the app or is it that you prefer not to use it? Once you have activated you can just delete the app and manage the account in a browser on any device.

Staff hours are 9:00am to 10:00pm EST but depending how busy they are. They normally reply in a few hours.

depending on workload, could take 2 or 3 hrs. In the meantime, let us know if we can help. Whats the nature of your concern ?
