My calls go directly to voice mail without ringing or notification. I cannot find where to change this.

There were a few issues. First, Fido had never ported the number. I used a phone number for porting provided by someone here and had them do a manual port of the number. Second, my 4 digit pin was changed to a number with a zero on the front. This worked for the most part except when you wanted to sign into your profile. I got in finally with some assistance and now it is the same in all places. Third, I was finally able to get in and reset my password. I think I now have a fully functioning phone and account. I will send this to all who helped or tried to help.

@blwpm248 so, you NEVER have any incoming calls coming to your phone?
If you are not receiving calls and text on your PM sim card and can only make outgoing calls, then you might have missed a critica porting step (Reply YES to your old provider to approve the porting) and hence porting was not completed
There is a number to call to talk to live support, they can re-trigger the process for you. I will message the number to you via the Community inbox. Check the envelope icon on top right. Call them and get it fixed

Just set this up recently. Did port number from a another cell phone (old flip phone). No other phone to try but did try all this in another city nearby and son and daughter tried to fix it and could not and they are cell phone users and seem to know a lot. I am new to cell phone. Thanks

@blwpm248 have you been with PM for sometime or just activated and ported your number into PM really recenlty?

Not in Quebec. New to cell phone. I can make outbound calls. Will look into chg to 3G. No other cell phone. Used phone in another area and did the same thing. Thanks

HI @blwpm248 Notification could be a different problem. Many complaints no notifications for VM
And are you in Quebec? They have active outage there

And are you able to use data and text still? can you make outbound calls?
Try to change to 3G Only on your phone
Or you can test it with another phone if you have a spare one
Also, try using your phone in another area. Could be a network problem where you are at

Did you port your number recently?
If signal is low in your area, system will redirect calls to your voice mail.
Can you try your SIM in another phone (at same location)?

outgoing calls ok?
first try to change your Preferred network type or Network mode to 3G Only (or WCDMA Only) and see if it works
If not, try to reseat the sim card. Power down the phone, take sim out for a minute, then put it back and power up
