Hi everyone,
I have a 15$ monthly plan with auto-pay. Can someone tell me if I'm supposed to get a 1-2$ discount per month, given the auto-pay? Currently, my bill is 17.25$ (after tax). Is this normal?
Thank you

So must be out east bc 75+% of the landmass of Canada wouldn't work with those numbers.. Lol noted 📝

JL9:
17.25 ÷ 1.15 equals 15 even - NB, NL, NS, PE
17.25 ÷ 1.14975 equals 15 mathematically - QC
17.25 ÷ 1.13 equals 15.26 - ON
17.25 ÷ 1.12 equals 15.40 - BC, MB
17.25 ÷ 1.11 equals 15.54 - SK
17.25 ÷ 1.05 equals 16.43 - AB, YT, NT, NU
There's a little more to this country than ON. 🙂
(third try)

@TH_Bui your missed the old rewards system by couple days.
Please note opt out from new system does not mean you get to get into the old rewards system. The old rewards system does not allow entry anymore, it is a grandfathered system.
So, opt out means you are out of any reward system and it is better to stay with the new reward system. You will still earn rewards point but just in a slower pace.

What province do you live in? The math seems off at least if you are in Ontario.

@TH_Bui - Anyone who activated on or after January 25, 2022 is automatically enrolled in the new Public Points rewards systems. There is no option to obtain the old rewards on/after this date.
Sure, you could opt-out, but then you get NOTHING, no new or old rewards system. So, take what you can get.

You cannot opt out once you are on the point system.
Edit:
Here is the announcement:

Normal if you are on the point system then there is no $2 discount for autopay. You would need to pay taxes on the $15 plan.
