A Public Mobile ad states this plan is available to existing as well as new subscribers BUT it does not appear when I access the change subscription page [current plan is $34 CAN/US 50gB]. How can I switch one of my two accounts to this new offer?

I asked and I provided the proof...I was turned down! Perhaps enough people will complain and it will become an option. But for right now, they aren't honoring it.

@Cart3 It's only when you click through that it says new activations only. I had success in the past sending a picture of the ad on their plans page that didn't show new activations only. I asked them to honor the ad. They did it but I had to make the change immediately. As i said, give it a try, all they can do is say no.

So what happened here was....
I went to a new private window (Incognito mode) and went back to that add. It was exactly the same...BUT! Once you click on the add and go to the next url....the add changed to what you had....New activations only. Still, a person could make a case for the 1st add. I certainly would like that subscription since I'm not rough on Data......

@Cart3 When you click on that it shows the ad that I posted. I have in the past sent a screen grab like you showed and asked them to honour it and they did. That's why I suggested the OP do it. All they can do is say no.

This is the add I just took a screenshot of. The man has a case in my opinion.

I understand the logic but PM has published a false ad if that is the case. Maybe like last year teh company will be shamed into making new plans available to existing clients to keep them from porting out.

@greengardener You could always do a screen grab of the ad and submit it to Customer Service to see if they will do the change for you, but I wouldn't hold my breath. When I click through the ad it shows as available for new activations.

Not ALL plans are available to existing customer particularly those cheaper than your current one. PM does not like customers to downgrade plans...

$29 Can/US/Mex is a great roaming deal but not everyone has access to it. What plan do you have now?

@greengardener It’s depends on the plan you have now , if your in a plan that cost more then $30 now it’s not going to show up in your account to change to most likely . Unfortunately it’s hard to downgrade plans these days but easy to upgrade plan price . So short of porting out and back in to get the desired Oman you can only choose what plans are available to us in our accounts to change too . I’m in $34 plan and don’t see the $29 MEX plan but see the other higher priced MEX plans $35-$45-$55

@greengardener You probably can't. PM has made it near impossible to downgrade your plan to a cheaper one. I also have the plan you do and I can downgrade to a $30 plan but not the one you want. I was able to upgrade to $35 for 50GB including US and Mex.

you can only change plans to one that's available to you. Log in to your account to see which plans are tailored to you. Make sure to Change Plans at Renewal.
added...before you log in to your acct, clear your cache files and use incognito mode. See if that brings up the plan you ask about.
