Hi There,   I tried browsing what was in here and maybe its just me, but would it not be nice if Telus gave PM customers a discount on buying phones? The Orchard prices are decen, but they are refurbs. Just liek there are rewards for referring someone or contributing to the the Community, maybe Telus can give a discount on a new phone. I come from Freedom Mobile service provider. As a commuter in Toronto, one of the best benifit that was offered by Freedom Mobile was it's underground network. Almost all subway stations are equipped with underground newtork.   It would be better if Public Mobile can incorporate this offer to expand customers. Plus, it would be very convenient!   ... I wish PM have a chat support on Facebook Messager/Whatsapp/ Whatsapp to Help Critical Issues Hi I know PM well before I sign up, No doubts about the service.  I had puk code issue for my cousin which is resolved by one of the modertor.  I helped him to Signup with PM which he really enjoyes.            On critical instances like this, when his phone is not working. He manged to message to a mod which took 2-3 days to get reply from. For the whole time he can't use his phone. He gone though all the suggestion which is mention the forum. Still none helped. I just returned from a trip the the US and the roaming data measured by my phone was 18% less than what the roaming system measured, even though my phone's measurement has been very accurate in the past. Considering everyone on PM is using unlocked phones and most are quite tech savvy, I really think you need to compete better for USA roaming rates. Unfortunately your options don't compare well to something like roam mobility. Therefore why would I use this compared to just sticking a roam mobility sim inside my phone. Roam mobility costs $5 a day for 500mb of LTE (and unlimited data at slower speeds if you pass 500mb). Also unlimited SMS and calling USA and Canada.    If you came out with daily/multi day options which compete with others such as roam mobility, more people would use it.      Maybe something like 500mb + unlimited calling and SMS = $10-12 for 5-10 days, and just raise price based on different amounts of data. However you can determine pricing structure that makes sense yet competes better.    Edit: I just noticed there is a talk text and data bundle 250mb for $20 good for 10 days. It would be benefiticalnto those wanting to sign up right away if there's a way to purchase a sim from a Telus or Koodo store for PM. Instead of purchasing it online and waiting to get it. Case in point : this FM promo, a lot of people would buy the sim and it does get to them they'll miss the promo. If they can just go to a Telus store and pick one up and get it signed up you'll probably have a lot more people flocking to PM for deals like these! ... View more

In the forums we always reccomend porting as a 2 step process 1 create account 2 port. With the FM promo this was not an option. And we had several account creation errors with people out of service ans completed ports. My suggestion is if there any future targeted promos similar to this one, to allow a 2 step process create account with the proper plan once user knows plan is cortect they port, say within 24-48 hours to be eligable for the promo bonus.
