Agreed about the roaming plans. $7/day to the US with no maximum can hit the pocketbook if you go on an extended trip... Rogers does the same @ $6, but they don't charge you that after 10 days. That makes more sense to me.Any idea how forwarding work...

Yes, I have restated my phone. I've tried a different texting app, but since it's an intermittent issue it's hard to be sure whether the app is the issue. Thanks!
