@hTideGnow Good question as it's unclear whether OP is coming or going but suggestions already provided should work for either scenario.

Hi @Shelbydog porting over? so, you are leaving or coming to PM?
if you are coming to PM, your number with other carrier must be still active. Then activate with PM and select Keep phone number option instead of pick new number
if you have trouble porting in, let us know and we can help

is that all you’re going to offer to us?
We can’t read minds, what is it you’re looking to do?
Additionally, it’s also helpful to let us know what you have tried or done so far.

@Shelbydog Adding you will need the old Carrier account number when porting it may ask you for the device imei avoid giving this info as it only seems to cause hiccups in the porting process

Porting over to PM or porting out of PM?

@Shelbydog to port out??
To port out, you start the process from your new provider
But first, make sure your PM account is currently active and you can receive text without problem. Login to My Account and get the account number from Profile page
While you are at My account, you might want to also disable Pre-Authorized payment just in case.
Then activate your new line with your new provider and request to port a number. Provide them PM's account number as the porting information
this is critical: Then still have your PM sim card in the phone, wait for PM to send you a text to confirm your porting request. You need to reply YES within 90 mins
After you replied yes, you can put your new sim card in the phone and wait until you get incoming calls. Once you are getting incoming calls, porting is completed. Your PM account will also be closed at this stage (you will no longer be able to login to PM My Account after)

PORTING IN
- Get new PM SIM card.
- Open PM account and activate SIM. You would need unique email and to pay a bill right away for the next 30 days of service.
- For starters pick any phone number in your desirable area code. (You can initiate transfer number when you activate SIM but I personally prefer this way not to mess things up.)
- Verify all services work as expected: SMS/calls/Internet.
- Initiate number transfer at old provider; BOTH accounts have to be active and in good standing.
- KEEP old SIM in your phone; you will receive transfer authorization request very soon.
- Reply Yes to request within 90 minutes.
- All done; in a few hours your PM number should be your transferred number.
