New subscriber not able to connect on public network

Please help as even though my old number transfer was completed by rogers still no note work on my phone from public mobile

self solution removed

if have only Asian version of Oppo A7, the V1 or V2, then it is not a phone designed for North America and you won't be able to use it on PM network

you might be able to use it only on 3G, try changing your network mode to 3G and test

I tried but still no network on phone. I used different handset for public mobile

Hello,

If your number transfer from Rogers is complete but you’re not getting any network on your Public Mobile phone, try these steps:

  1. Restart Your Phone: Sometimes a simple restart helps the phone recognize the new network.
  2. Check SIM Card Placement: Make sure the SIM card is properly inserted in the phone.
  3. Network Settings Reset: Go to your phone's Settings and reset the network settings. This can help refresh the connection.
  4. Manual Network Selection:
    • Go to Settings > Mobile Networks and select Public Mobile manually.
  5. APN Settings: Make sure your phone has the correct APN settings for Public Mobile. You can find the details on the Public Mobile website.
  6. Confirm Number Transfer: Confirm if the number transfer is fully completed:
    • Outgoing calls and texts should work with your transferred number.
    • Incoming calls and texts should also work.
    • If you can make outgoing calls but not receive any, the transfer might still be in progress.

what phone do you have? esim or physical sim

Please first Reboot the phone and Reset Network settings?

Did you remove your Rogers SIM from your phone?

this is not related with porting but a problem with the setup

try Reboot the phone first and test making calls
