Hi, lost my phone in a lake. I have ordered a new phone. I need a new sim card.through public mobility. Wondering how I go about it and can I get the same phone number. Can I keep the same payment plan?
Thanks in advance.

hi @hairbag1 you are funny. But OP might rather forget the story and move on. He might be more excited about new phone shopping. LoL

@Burry yes, just get a sim card first from:
Once you got the sim card, go to My Account from ONLY a desktop or laptop computer to request Change Sim card (please note that due to some glitches, accessing change sim care from mobile phone or tablet won't work)
After you logged in, unsuspend first if you have suspended your service earlier.
Then go to Profile page, click on the Pencil besides the sim card number, follow the steps to enter the new sim card number and complete the change sim card request
(or direct link: https://myaccount.publicmobile.ca/en/account/profile/change-sim-number )

Once you have your new PM SIM, login to account and go to Profile section and replace the SIM card number to keep your existing number.

Amazon has a sale right now for $4.99 and if you happen to have a membership should take a couple days. Or you can contact your local Telus stores to see if they have them. But there they charge $9.99. After all is said and done, you log into your account, go to profile and you can change your SIM card number there.
