@Andriko_2   This may not be the problem since it happened with your sim in another phone too, but have you checked Settings -> Messages -> Send and Receive to make sure you are sending and receiving at your phone number rather than email?  A recent ios update seemed to have changed my preferences there and it messed up texting until I figured it out.

Since texting did not work in another phone, it may be a PM carrier issues.

Hi there. I tried the sim in another phone - still cannot send to or receive from android. Yes, I reset the network settings. I have also signed out of and back into apple id, icloud, this exiting, and entering messages and facetime, etc.

Check on the phone to see if Settings/Messages/Send as SMS is turned on.

is it only 1 android that you have trouble texting OR all android users.

@Andriko_2  Can you try the sim card in another phone to test .? If not maybe try resetting network settings and ensure you have sms enabled and not just IMessage in the iPhone settings
