Late to the game here - Sorry! 😆
@mjulian123- You can block or deny the spam calls all you want, but as you noticed all it does is further annoy you by diverting those calls to voicemail, where you then have to go and delete them.
I recommend checking out an alternative free voicemail service "YouMail" - By reprogramming your conditional call forward settings to their service instead of the default Public Mobile voicemail service, you can have your voicemails just e-mailed to you with a sound file attachment, and I think 20 free text transcriptions included per month too. That makes it much easier to just swipe/delete any junk voicemails as easy as any other email you receive.
Switching to youmail involves reprogramming the three types of conditional call forwarding: when "busy" (includes blocked callers and when you manually decline a call), no answer, and unreachable (phone off, in airplane mode, or out of coverage area)
There are "creative" scenarios you can use to direct unanswered and unreachable calls to your Public Mobile or Youmail voicemail as usual, but have blocked or manually declined calls go somewhere else, other than your voicemail:
My current "safe for work" faves for manually declined calls:
Look for the conditional call forwarding settings in your phone, or you can query & set them manually as per the above linked post. For example you can set the Busy/Blocked/Declined condition by dialing the following:
Query conditional busy/decline forward: *#67#
Set conditional busy/decline forward: *67*xxxyyyzzzz#
Reset conditional busy/decline forward back to default Public Mobile Voicemail: ##67#
I hope this gives you some useful ideas!

Contacting CSA is not a good recommendation. As per earlier posts, it was already determined that the calls were incoming (junk) calls that were diverted to voicemail. In that case in your usage history in the selfserve portal, it looks like your number called the voicemail deposit number, with no trace of the original callers number.
The voicemail deposit number could be any of the many available across Canada, shared by Telus Mobility, Koodo Mobile, and Public Mobile:

In summary, there are three types of 'conditional' call forward that by default all go to your voicemail. One of them is for blocked/declined calls. You can reprogram that one to go to a dead-end or anywhere else in Canada so that blocked and declined calls don't pollute your voicemail, but calls that are merely unanswered, or while your phone is offline will continue to go to voicemail as usual.
My current "safe for work" faves:
- 808 000 0000 - An invalid number in Hawaii's area code.. This number will successfully configure, but since Public Mobile doesn't actually allow call forwarding to US numbers, it will result in a fast-busy to the caller.
- 416 299 6099 "The number you are calling cannot receive incoming calls." - outgoing only payphone number in Toronto
- 306 545 8171 "At the customers request, the number you have dialed is equipped for outgoing calls only." - outgoing only payphone number in Regina
Look for the conditional call forwarding settings in your phone, or you can query & set them manually as per the above linked post by dialing the following:
Query conditional busy/decline forward: *#67#
Set conditional busy/decline forward: *67*xxxyyyzzzz#
Reset conditional busy/decline forward back to Public Mobile Default: ##67#

I was hoping @Nezgar would show up and supply all this stuff but here's the first one that has an added benefit of a few good laughs.
Start with this one.

Do not know how to see if my post is in draft...
I usually prepare longer post in text editor and then copy/paste here in order to have proper wording and everything else in order.

Do you mean spam calls?
You can block number but if it is spoofed you will be blocking legitimate number.
I do not see any foolproof way to reject spam calls. If it is not number you recognize, do not answer the call. No other way. Yes, it might go into your vmail but what can we all do...?
09-25-2021 07:25 PM
BTW....to tag someone just tap the "@" key and start typing the name and it will appear in a pop up box....that is also how I figured out your original community account must be banned since it and @big_rick can not be found. Why you were banned I can only speculate.....
Where's @Nezgar ? No magicians on the forum yet!

Don't worry were getting there....it takes time to figure out how to solve things but it's much faster here than with a CSA going back and forth with a half hour or more between posts. Then when you do need to contact them it will be for only one or two things and it will be quick.
Ok @big_rick iis a bit of an inside joke but my bf after first switching to pm thought it would be funny to make his community profile username as very similar to @big_rick. He sent me one private message only and never posted in the community. I laughed and said you better change that it might get you in trouble. I woke up the next day unable to sign in....our IP address had been permanently banned as well as his community account and his email.
I had to use a VPN to sign in for 8 months until telus came to fix my internet and my IP address was changed. I also had to manage his account since he couldnt link a community account and he was mad that he got banned for stupid joke. Eventually he did change his self serve account email (well I did once he made a new email) so I could create a community account for him...not that he ever uses it. He would probably get banned again within the first hour on here.
Alternatively have you changed internet providers or had repairs done? Are you unable to sign in on mobile data as well? Have you ever gotten a warning like this?

@Anonymous
As you can see by my post that contacting customer support is needed but we didn't know that until the OP gave us more info. However I'm trying to see how customer support can help the OP with spam calls? Your answer to change the number if possible is the easiest solution for the OP if they are getting more than their fair share of spam callers.
If changing your phone number is not an option then it will take some diligence on your part but you will be able to drastically reduce the amount of spam callers you are getting by setting your conditional and unconditional call forwarding to deter repeat spam callers.
Now @Nezgar is our resident expert in this area and will probably be able to snap his fingers and appear with all the requisite call forwarding numbers and posts on this subject before I can even find one. @mjulian12345678 is not coming up and since @big_rick iis not coming up either that leads me to believe that username has been permanently banned from the community. That would also include the email used for the community account. You can check to see if its been permanently deleted by using a VPN and see if you can sign in if not then it has been removed, deleted, archived etc....I am not sure how exactly pm/khoros does this.
The terms and conditions of the community forum can be pretty strict and there are a few things that result in a first time complete ban that you may not have intended or even knew you had done by virtue of a typo or even a joke in poor taste or an improper link. Once banned in this manner there is no recovery of the account or email. So if you want your current community account and your self serve account linked you will have to get the self serve account email changed by contacting customer support.
My next post will address your spam issue....

all my respect my dear friend,
i read they OP, but there a issue with account no one can fix it, the best way them go to CSA..

my opinion is Changing Your Number, but if your old number like it or no need to change, you have to contact to CSA,
I would say to change your number will be the best option,
How Changing Your Number
You can change your phone number up to 4 times every 30 days after you’ve activated. To change your number after activation, go to your Self Serve Account here link and:

Old habits die hard eh?😉 Read the OP's questions again. How can they be solved without contacting customer support? If the OP reveals a little more info it will be easier to narrow down the solutions. But think about and then list what they are.....

Question #1. As likely answered by @computergeek541 That's the voicemail number and probably from spam calls that you ignore, dismiss etc...and get redirected to voicemail.
Question #2. What is the error message you are getting when trying to sign in? If you want to use your original account again there are ways to recover it depending on why you can't sign in. What's your community profile username?

Do those calls end in the number of 4001? If so, these aren't actually outoing calls. Calls to this number as shown in your self serve account indicate that an incoming calls was directed to your voicemail.
As for your Community account, that won't affect your sevice. Community accounts are not linked to your service, although Community rewards are sent to the Self Serve account with the e-mail address indicated. When you're opening a ticket to customer support, it doesn't make any difference which Community account is used as long as you pass the identity/account verrfication steps.
