Bonuses are usually considered a data add-on. data add-ons remain active untill they have been fully used. so switching your plan wont matter.

Simple answer is - No. You will not lose your bonuses if you switch plans.
I believe only US add-ons have countdown timer; all others you buy stay on your account until you use them all up.

No you shouldn’t lose your free promo data and minutes.
It gets rolled over if it is unused.

If you are referring to the "more is merrier" holiday gifts of a 2gb bonus data add on and the 500 international long distance calling minutes add on then no you will not lose them if you change plans.
Be sure to schedule a change plan on next renewal rather than choosing change "immediately" or you will lose any value left in your current plan.
If you are upgrading your plan and you are on Autopay it is suggested that you manually top up your account before renewal with the full plan payment to avoid the possibility of a known glitch that often causes autopay to fail by charging your card on file the lower price of your old plan rather than the higher price of your new plan.
