Hi, is there a way to keep the PM phone DATA working while visiting France and Italy? I'm not so much interested in calls or texts, although it would be good to know.

Where are you arriving in Europe? If your arrival is in Italy they offer some of the cheapest prepaid plans in the world. Plans have an average cost of €1/1gb with a 30-day plan averaging €20/20gb including European roaming. For more info see here...

There are some pretty cost efficient data/sim options in Europe depending on where you go . A quick search for your country/countries should give you a good starting point.

Hi @mountaindew get a local data sim there instead. From a cost prospective, It is always a preferred way even roaming is available (but again, roaming is not a choice here 🙂 )
which countries you are going? many data sim there can work for most European counties

Negative.
You'll need a local sim and a European plan in order to have data service whilst in Europe.

PM does not provide any service in Europe. US has limited access through US add-ons.
Your option is free WiFi or if you need calls voip apps (again, WiFi based).

You could however use a voip app that does talk and text and forward calls and use another app to forward texts. Then when on wifi or local data cell service you can talk and text from the voip app getting the calls and texts while you're there.

Working = that it can be used, that it will function (ie. work). You've answered: that it will not work there. Thanks.

Define "working"? PM services will not work there. You can certainly leave the account active and pay it every 30 days. Or there's a grace period of 90 days of suspension before it dies.
