Hi team,
I will travel to another country for 2 months. So I would like to stop the payment during that time, could I ask if I just need to unsubscribe? And can I re-subscribe when I back to Canada?
Btw, for the reward plan update, it's really a pain to users with public for over 5 years. We can't use the new user plan, and current plans are not competitive enough compare to other companies new user plans. Do you have any plans with promotion to super loyalty users?
Thanks,
Fu

Be a little careful with this advice as available funds will be taken if only autopay is deactivated. The sure method is to suspend service.
One quirk worth noting: if you activate unconditional call forwarding before suspending service, calls continue to be forwarded. At least used to be. 🤔

HI @Evelynfu
yes, you can turn off Autopay before your trip and the service will be suspended at the end of the cycle. You have 90 days from that day to resume the service. Make sure you do so before the 90 days, just login My Accont and click "Pay now and resume services" when you are back in Canada.
yes, the end of the legacy rewards is a bad news for us. Most of us loss $5 to $7 for that. Sad
But don't think about that, enjoy your holiday

Hello @Evelynfu
We are all customers like you. Nobody from Public Mobile monitors these forums. This is a self serve service. With that being said, this is what you do.
Log in to your account. Go to the payments tab on the left.
Then go to Manage Subscription on the right.
Then move the toggle to the left.
This will place the account on hold for 89 days. After day 90, the account will close.
With regards to newer plans, no. If the removal of loyalty rewards does go through, you no longer have to stay on any plan because of legacy rewards. And you are free to shop with any other provider as well. Loyalty is no longer an option.

Yes @Evelynfu , you can turn off "auto-subscription" in your Subscription and add-on tab.
It will suspend your account for up to 90 days at the end of your current cycle.
You MUST pay for another cycle before the 90 days are up to restore your service.
