Transfer pictures from old phone to new phone

I want to switch to another phone and change to Public Mobile. Is it possible to have the pictures transferred from the old phone to the new phone?

This is not a public mobile issue, so maybe you could try Google or YouTube

@Carolle

The transfer is related to the phone transfer.

On iPhones, just backup Photos and on Androids you photo will be in the Gallery or Google Photos app. So you need to login to the app on your new phone and it will be there.

PM will not be able to assist you in this task as they provide mobile service only.

Look for app to do that or copy everything to USB drive or computer and transfer manually.

@Carolle , if you are using an android device SMS backup and restore is a good app for transferring SMS, MMS, and call logs from phone to phone.  The app creates an XML file that can be moved from phone to phone.  Also android does have SMS, MMS and call logs included in phone backups.  So if you are restoring data from phone to phone, that will work too.  I am sure that iOS must have something similar.  As already mentioned, Public Mobile will have nothing to do with this.

It is possible.  For example, it is easy to do with iphones. Recently upgraded iPhone and all the photos, text messages, contacts were transferred to to new Iphone.

It is not a Public mobile service though.  Owners have to do it themselves.

HI@Carolle   it has nothing to do with changing carrier

But yes, you can backup pictures and transfer.  In fact, some phone has transfer app to help you with all these

But you can do it manually, just hoock up a cable on the old phone to computer, then you can open it as a drive and copy to your hard drive
