The person you want to transfer your phone number to....are they a pm customer? A telus or koodo customer?

Are you implying that Telus family customers CAN somehow switch numbers as OP wishes?

Thanks all, I guess there is not way to do it.

Simply put,  you can't @wendigo

It sounds like a logical request, however some things with this place are easier said than done.

The person you want to transfer your phone number to....are they a pm customer? A telus or koodo customer? Or are they with a different provider? What is the reasoning behind giving them your phone number?

Unfortunately you are out of luck, the closest thing to what you are looking for is what Luddite suggested

You cannot transfer your number to another person and stay with your account and get new number.

You can give your PM account to somebody else with all rewards, loyalty, etc. You would have to change all personal info and email to that other person. So basically other person is taking over 'your' account and keeps phone number.

Then you have to open new PM account and pick whatever number is available.

If you port your number to another provider, your current PM account will be closed.

wendigo: By policy, they don't change numbers around between accounts. Transferring (porting) a number out closes the account. The idea mentioned is for someone else to take over the account. Then you would go about getting a whole new account.

@wendigo your aren't t able to give your number to another person and add a new number to your account to keep your rewards and current plan.  There only way to give that number to someone is for them to take over the account asked your stay a new one, but if you have a grandfathered plan and rewards attached you would lose them

I am confused. After I change the account email, how can they log in with my account detail( email).   Can I get the original plan back?

  1. @wendigo  Contact the CSAs and request they change the email address on your account. Then just give your current SIM and login details to the other person after removing your credit card. They can then add their own credit card.
  2. Get a new SIM and activate a new account. Get a referral code, or use the one from your original account.
