Switching plan and Rewards

I am thinking of switching my plan to the $40 4G Speed 15G 30-Day plan. Will this switching change my rewards from the $ based to a points system, which I wish to avoid?

Your rewards are tied up with your Account not plan. So you can switch plans every 30 days if you like it and rewards will stay the same - unless YOU switch to points.

You will not lose your rewards, nor will you lose any of the bonuses on your account like the holiday bonus data and calling minutes. You have to expressly opt in to the new rewards plan, it wont happen by accident. Once you switch your plan, even if you chose to switch at renewal, it will show the amount owing on that renewal date with your rewards applied.

Your question is a valid one @Paul7 , especially given the messaging on the plan descriptions.

 

The first line of each description makes reference to points:

I think Public Mobile should remove that reference as it's caused a lot of customers to believe they may only qualify for the plan change by switching to points.

 

As others have stated, you can happily remain on the old rewards system and change plans.

@Paul7   No worry, changing plan would not affect your rewards system.  You will still stay on the old rewards with plan change.

 

The new rewards system will only be changed if you opt-in yourself
