I did all that. Checked mms settings. Everything is checked off.

@Lia33

I guess you try all you can yourself, now it is time to ask PM to check.  Open ticket

 Simply open ticket with PM using the Orange Chatbot icon on the lower right. (For 2FA  code when login, use email to receive code instead of SMS if you cannot receive the text on the phone.)    When open Chatbot ticket, Type the question Submit ticket and select Contact Us to get to ticket open screen

But if you have trouble using Chatbot to open ticket, then message PM using this link:

PM will reply to your community inbox,  between 9AM-10PM EST (Mon-Sun), check here:

I have deleted and re entered my phone number.  I have reset network settings.  My Apple ID is signed in. Cellular data is turned on. I have rebooted 4 times. Still. Not. Sending.

I truly appreciate all the replies. I read all previous threads and it seems this is common. I don’t know how to resolve it though.

changing carrier can be troublesome sometimes, it is true which porting to any carrier

no worries, now, reboot the phone and reset network settings once and it should be ok

To reset network settings:
navigate to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network Settings.

@Lia33

By any chance you are sending iMessage with photos (MMS)?

If you are then enable cellular data. If not then it is related to your Apple account. So you need to check to see if you account name is showing on the top of Settings. If not, you need to log back in your account.

I have removed the number. I am now not able to add it back. I type it in and tap save and …nothing.

ii do appreciate your response however I have been trying to send a one word message for over an hour. I never should have switched carriers.

I dont know how to log out of iMessage.
the issue is as stated. I do not have issues with phone calls.  Or other things.

To remove phone number
navigate to Settings > Phone > My Number, then delete the existing number and save it

then reboot phone and go back and add the phone number back

To reset network settings:
navigate to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network Settings.

This will remove all saved Wi-Fi networks, bluetooth and VPN settings.  You can add the Wifi and bluetooth connections back after

How does one reset the network settings.

If all other services worked as expected using phone's native apps (calls/sms/data in/out) then issue is Not with PM but with the 3rd party app.

Unsaved contacts. Perhaps Android users. Idk.

I understand the words you are saying but I don’t know how to delete my number in iMessage and put it back in.

@Lia33

Any issues with data?  incoming texts?  phone calls (incoming and outgoing)?

Might want to log out of iMessage and log back in.

just one contacts? or all of them?  Did you just join PM with a phone number port?

you can remove the phone number from Settings, then reboot the phone and re-register iMessage by going back to Settings and add the phone number back after the reboot.  This should clear up the issue

@Lia33

Try resetting the Network settings and reboot your phone.

If that didn’t work then contact a CS_Agent to investigate the issue.
