Paid tech $50.00 to check my phone.

only problem public mobile failed to register my phone .

Unable to change incoming phone to more than one ring before sending message

to voice- mail

Frustrated for 2 days trying to correct/no fix want my money back so I may change to another provider.

I am 93 and tech.challenged

My credit card compromised  so I replaced with a new card and number.

Prepaid renewal in few days so I tried to register the new number. No success so I paid for another month which allowed me to enter new number.

 Found  a code online to enter which would change the number of rings but when I attempt to dial 61 the message says not registered on network.

I can dial my landline phone at home and the landline phone rings. I can text ok but any calls to my cell phone , one ring and goes to voice mail . This is not satisfactory for me to locate my cell phone should I misplace it and try to locate where I last placed it.

I paid a tech to check my cell phone and was  told the problem was the provider. not the phone.

I know my internet reception is 1 bar  most of the time but the cell phone worked last year. 

I am unhappy with PM and am tempted to change to a new provider . I dont think I could get a money refund so am  stuck with PM for another month while I struggle to find a solution. I need to receive calls from my wife when I am not at home.

Hi,

This phone might create ongoing problems with voice calls moving forward as it's not one of Public Mobile approved phone.

Sometimes turning the phone off for a few minutes automatically fixes alot of bugs.

Make sure that if there are any software updates available you update it right away.

Check that volte is enabled. 

Open settings ⚙️ ( pull screen down from top right), tap Connections, Network Mode, find the VoLTE option and click to turn it on.

When you call someone look at the phone screen. On the top right of the phone, do you see LTE, or 3G?

I paid tech thinking my phone was faulty when incoming calls went to voice- mail after one ring 

I am 93 and challenged by new tech.  one ring would not allow me to find my phone if misplaced

I now know my phone is not registered on the network and  am challenged with a fix for Samsung android phone A10E using Telus .

There are codes to enter through your phone to change number of ring before call goes into voice mail.

PM being pre-paid service once you pay there is no refund unless... you prove PM does not work properly and it is PM's fault.

What do you mean you paid tech money to check your phone? Did you port on from another provider? Did you reply to the sms to confirm the port?

Make sure that you had removed your old sim card from your phone.

But if you want to port, make sure you don't cancel with public mobile first as you will need the account active to port out.

You need to message Public Mobile agents for assistance to fix the error first.

It's prepaid service, so generally no refunds. You can try and ask customer service. But likely the month of service you paid for is spent. Just make sure your account is cancelled and won't automatically pay for next month.
