I need to know i am on a $50 data plan per month and i pay it on the 22nd of each mth . Faithfully!! If i have only 29.00 owing for this month (as i put more down on it last month)  .. am i still going to have my phone shutdown on the 22nd or will it let me use my phone till that money runs out  ?
It says I only  owe $29 for now and i am almost at the 22nd of the month

    .
Will my phone keep running past the 22nd for a bit then ?

It is not pay per use or prorated at all, it is either all or nothing, you need the funds in full to cover. You could change your plan to a lower plan if that plan will be issue payment wise and then change back to 50 plan if you want down the road

Public Mobile is prepaid so you must pay for your entire plan amount before renewal or you will be suspended. If you need a couple of extra days before you can pay the full plan amount you can at least self suspend via lost/stolen before midnight eastern on day 30 to keep your voicemail active. You can then use a voip provider like textnow while on WiFi to check messages and call or text contacts. Are you on the old rewards program? If you are you can still register for autopay but pay by voucher to earn the $2 reward.

As noted by @JK8, PM is on a 30 days cycle so every 2 months…your payment will be shorten by a day earlier.

You are responsible for checking your account on your next due date if you make manual payment.

If you signup on AutoPay you won’t worry about late payment or service cutoff.

@Dee12124   not 22nd of each month.  PM is on a 30 days cycle.  Check your My Account and see when is the next renewal date.  If you pay April 22, your next renewal date should be May 22 and then Jun 21, July 21 , August 20, and so on

If you have a $50 plan and My Account shows you $29 owing, then you should have $21 as Available Fund on your My Account, is that right?  You will need to pay $29 beforre May 22nd or your account will be suspended. PM is prepaid and you need to pay the full plan amount at the beginning of the cycle.  Even you have some money there, the plan will be suspended as long as you don't have the full plan amount in the account by the renewal date.

I believe you don't have Autopay enabled?  If you have one there, then you will let PM Autopay to take care of how much to load then

All current plans are on 30 day cycles so log into self service to see what your renewal date is. It will not always be on the 22nd of each month. Also look at Available Funds to see what your current balance is to see what you need to pay and how much more to pay. It is easiest to put a cc on file with autopay.

Edit: You must have enough money in Available Funds or be on autopay otherwise your phone will not work after the renewal date.
