How do you know your existing SIM is not working? No SMS/calls/data possible to use?
Since you already got new SIM you can replace it yourself as suggested above.
Let us know how it goes and if you need more assistance.

@Wendy529 - yes please remove all personal information. You can go into your account and do a change sim card yourself. Did you check to see if your old sim worked in another phone, and that it isn't a phone issue?

For changing SIM, all you need to do is to login to My Account, select Change SIM card and then pick the a way to receive the 2FA code, in your case, likely to choose via Email as your SIM is not working

Have you tried your old SIM card in another unlocked phone? Why do you think your sim is not working? It could be a phone, sim or account problem. Can you log into self service to see what your account status is? If it is indeed a SIM card problem you can change it yourself in self service. Please give us more details on why your phone is not working so we can assist you. No personal info.
