I used to be a customer of Public Mobility. I moved to another carrier, I want to return to Public Mobile. Do I need to get a new SIM card?

@LinToe....you're going to need a new sim. Here's a link to get one and they promise very fast delivery. If you're in the GTA, they have a option to pick it up...
Also, if you want to port your number back to Public, there's several steps involved, so do some reading here, before you attempt it. Make sure you do not close out your old account until port to PM successfully.
Welcome back.

Yes the old sim card is deactivated/ dead. Purchase a new one online Amazon or participating Telus/Koodo stores (call them ahead of time to check stock)

Yes, you will need to purchase a new SIM card. Your old used SiM card will not work.
Sim cards can be purchased online via PM website or Amazon. Or in store at a Telus or Koodo store. Phone ahead to make sure that the store sells PM Sim card.

If you ported your number out of PM your account would have been automatically closed, therefore you would need a new SIM card and activate all over again.
