Roaming Calls Cut Out every few minutes

Hello, I frequently use the USA roaming add ons and have never had issues before this time. When i went to purchase the add-on iIbought it and my account got charged and then it never showed up in my add ons and my phone would not work in the USA. I then bought a different roaming add-on because it is crucial for my work phone to be working when I am in the states. the second add-on got activated and my phone works now. but for some reason, I can't talk on the phone longer than a minute or two without the call dropping. I have tried to switch through all the carriers but it doesn't fix the issue so I think the problem is to do with the double add-on activation. I am not concerned with the extra $20 dollars it cost me to activate the second add-on I just need to be able to make calls. 

 

Please help as I need my phone to work.....

Not all US add-ons are stackable. Some of them has to be exhausted first before buying the same or very similar again.

The problem you are experiencing is due to having two US roaming add ons that have a talk component. Check your transaction history to see if you did in fact purchase two US roaming add ons with a talk component. The US roaming talk only add on does not appear on the overview page but rather under "my plan details" accessed from the overview page. If you did purchase  it or the talk and text bundle it may not have worked at first but purchasing the second add on, rebooting your phone, toggling airplane mode or roaming on/off may have triggered it to work and now the two add ons with the talk feature is causing your issue. 

 

Contact customer support to remove the add on that you don't want and credit the cost back to your account balance and this will fix your issue.

@jlucas  you are correct the double add-on .  You need to contact agents via chat bot. And ask them to remove one of the add-ons.

 

@VIP_Tech the original post already mentioned they tried both carriers.

Try manually selecting either of AT&T or T-Mobile, whichever works best for you.

and Rebooting device..
