I get a message saying the eSim is active, then a few minutes later receive a message "Unable to Activate eSim"
Now I am without a phone trying to get this sorted and no person to speak to re rectify this issue. I have a iPhone 10 which is compatible.

Thanks. I have sent a private message so I guess I'll have to wait for a response.

Hey @Mela2024
Sorry but you've given to different phones here. @BKNS27 was 100% correct that the X doesn't accept eSIM. However, the XR does accept it. I have that one myself and I know it does. So you can follow the instructions below to help.

I also have the iPhone X and please note that it is NOT eSIM compatible. You will need to purchase a SIM.
You purchase it from Amazon for $4.99 or from Canadian Cell Supplies online for $4 or from your a Telus/Koodo/Mobile Klinik store for $10.
Once you have the SIM, you need to download the PM app and activate the SIM.

Hello @Mela2024 ... try going into the settings section and make sure you choose the PM eSIM as the primary. Then reboot the phone. If that doesn't work, try resetting the network settings and restart the phone. If you're still having issues, you can reach a CS Agent this way.

EDIT: Good catch @BKNS27 I forgot it starts at iPhone 11 for eSIM.
As per @BKNS27 go get yourself a SIM card for the phone.
To get a new SIM card the fastest routes are these.
https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/bc/pick-up-SIM - Find a local store in your area.
Amazon - Here you can get it cheaper and maybe a few days wait $4.99
