How does this affect existing customers on those plans?

as said in my other reply, look like the price change is inline with the market, and $27 and the $32 plan is still cheaper than the other Tier 3

As of January 28 I see the $19 plan now has only 500MB of data, the 10GB and 20GB plans had a price increase of $2, now at $27 and $32.

PM never make announcement with new plans. Plans come and go, it's their regular business
from $23 to $25 with extra data, it is not a price increase but more providing us with different choices
add: I still see the $23 6GB plan available

Hi, I am seeing in the app a $25 4G 10GB plan and a $30 4G 20GB plan that weren't there yesterday.
So have they added $2 and 4GB to the old $23 plan and added $1 to the $29 plan with no increase in data?
Why no announcements from PM?

i think iPhoneinCanada.ca just try to scare people, and they always gives wrong info. Basically, just those current 4G plans will be ended, does not mean PM will no offer 4G plan anymore
"new and better plans coming". No, I don't see more expensive plans, generally the plan price has dropped or same price with more data. and I think the $19 plan will stay after Jan 27

If by "new and better plans coming" you mean more expensive I would bet you are right 😞

It doesn't. I am currently on a 5G plan and my phone only supports 4G.

Hello @EdN
So basically it means any and all 4G plans that are being offered are going to be ending. That just means new and better plans are coming out, in my opinion. But anyone currently on 4G plans, nothing to worry about as you and they won't be affected. Heck, there are people still on 3G plans, at least till the remove 3G services. Which could be a few years still.
So, this is just about plans "offered". ... doesn't affect anyone's plans at all. Here's an example. You know how there are Black Friday offers and Boxing Day offers? Just think of it that way. Offers come and go. But you still get the plan you sign up for.

hi @EdN
it just means those promo plans are ending, not the 4G got killed
PM will bring back more 4G promo plans later, or they might simply selling 5G only plans
but for existing customers on any 4G plans, no effect at all

@EdN It doesn't actually say they're doing away with 4G altogether, just those 4G promo plans. It shouldn't affect anyone already on them.
