Does this promo replace my current 5gb for $40 or is it an additional cost to my plan as I just received the text but it is unclear

@treefrog- Way too much money for me and my usage. The far side of usage would be hotspotting off of cell data instead of home internet. But the current $90/40gb is still not enough for all internet usage.

Thanks. Same plan as me. I can't decide if I should switch? I don't really need that much data but it could come in handy a couple of times a year depending on my location for work when I can't get a Rogers signal with my work phone.

Hmmm.... I didn't receive a text message about this plan I just happened upon it last night. I wonder if it's only select customers that get a text?

To make sure you get this plan if you're interested I would make sure you schedule a plan change on next renewal. Take a screenshot too just in case you need it? It is a really great deal I'm still hemming and hawing over it myself.

@dust2dust That's interesting...haven't received that text (yet?). It would be nice if PM sent that text to all customers, especially for anyone already paying similar or more for their plan.

The text seems to say that if you reply yes that it will do the scheduled plan change for the next renewal.

Typing this out I see some uncertainty. It's not just for new customers. And not just through activation. "added to your plan" is odd to say when it's a different plan.

Thanks it does not show up up in my available plans to change. I received a text message to reply yes if I want the plan for December.

This is limited time offer which appears ONLY when you go and try to change plan.
YOU have to either schedule plan change or change it Now to take advantage of that plan. It will NOT automatically replace plan you have even though the cost is the same.

HI @Pauldasilva01 you have to manually change plan to this new one. It is a different plan , just same price
Make sure you use Change Plan now option to avoid losing money due to early renewal

This is a limited offer of a new plan. You can go into self service and change your plan to this one on your next renewal date. This way you will not loss any credits for your current plan.
