If you are trying to send a picture message (MMS) and it says "Not Delivered" with a red circle and exclamation mark, it means that there was an issue with sending the message. Here are some common reasons why this may occur:

  1. Poor network connection: If you have a poor network connection or are in an area with low signal strength, the MMS may not be able to send. Try moving to an area with better signal or connecting to a Wi-Fi network.

  2. Large file size: If the picture or video you are trying to send is too large, it may not be able to send. Try reducing the size of the file or sending it in multiple parts.

Invalid recipient: Make sure that the recipient's phone number or email address is entered correctly. If the recipient is not able to receive MMS messages, the message will not be delivered.

hi @esjliv i think the issue OP has is that the message didn't send out from OP side as it said No delivered.   I think MMS is something just send and no acknowledgment, ie if send out successfully, the sender won't know if receiving end received

@LorriAnne - do you know if the other user with the android phone needs to have their DATA setting ON to receive MMSs?

Does this occur when the receiving party has their phone turned off?  I find that I get this problem when I send text to someone who has their phone turned off at the time.  If phone is on, no problem.

hi @LorriAnne

try sending via MMS when you need to send to Android users

@LorriAnne

Can you confirm with the recipient whether they have received the message or not?  It would be interesting to know if there's any indication on their end... and whether they can view it?

It's possible if the Android user has their 'chat' settings enabled in a certain way, that they may have irregular issues sending and receiving messages, including picture types.

I know when myself and another Android user tried out Chat, we had enormous difficulties synching our Chat settings so it worked amongst us, and still allowed us to send and receive SMS and MMS outside of chat.

We eventually abandoned Chat altogether.

@LorriAnne its normal there might be problems sending to Android phones as they don't have iMessage.  Long press on the problematic message, a menu comes up, select send as MMS

@LorriAnne  Does this only not work in a certain location or does it happen hit or miss on same location ?

adding if data and mms is on try toggling  off reboot phone and select them back on again or simply try taking SIM card out and reseat it in the sim tray and push back in see if that helps

I only get the  "not delivered"  mesage when sending  image  to android phone , But ocassionally it delivers normally ..

@LorriAnne  Can you try the SIM card in another phone and see if services work as they should ?
