I received a call this morning from someone saying that I called them, but I didn't. The individual said that the convo was about a credit card. Does this mean that someone hacked my number? What should I do, and is my phone breached now???

HI @MPL2020 So, it is text spoofing? It is not as common but it is easy doable.
Nothing you can do, it is not like anyone really have access to your phone. The Caller id spoofing issue is really CRTC needs to work with carriers

Your phone is not compromised. Scammers spoof your number - 'your number' shows on display people they call. Happens to (almost) everybody. I have been called from Alberta asking me why I called them...
You cannot do anything to stop that.

It is called Caller ID spoofing. Nothing can be really done.
Here is some more information:
https://crtc.gc.ca/eng/phone/telemarketing/identit.htm
Just explain to any future callers that you did not call them and some scammer was using caller ID spoofing. If it happens too often, you could change your number, but it can also happen with your new number.
It happened to myself several times a while ago. Then it just stopped happening. Scammers likely rotate caller IDs.
Don't worry. Your phone number is safe.

Sorry nothing else you can do about it. No phone isn't breached.
