Switching back to my previous eSIM

Hey guys,

Long story short, I bought a new phone and installed a new eSIM, since PM doesn't let you port them from one phone to another. I have to send my new phone away for repairs under warranty and would like to switch back to my previous eSIM, which doesn't seem to have been deleted from my old phone.

I'm already a little displeased they didn't let me port the eSIM I already had, I'm really hoping they don't expect me to buy a third and fourth eSIM to switch from my new to old and then old to new once more, but I'm having trouble finding a way to do it. I found my "Current SIM" number on my PM app, but I can't find the previous SIM number on my old phone (Google Pixel 4a), despite it seeming to still be there.

Anyone have any tips or advice?

Still not exactly my situation, but I'm believing more and more that re-using the eSIM on my old phone is impossible, so I reached out to support to see if they have a solution beyond re-buying my eSIM 2 additional times.

That being said, I didn't think they'd be willing to reimburse me for the eSIM i just purchased. Thank you for the advice!

if you just swap the esim, you just need to buy new esims on both phones

but if you meant swap  plans between 2 accounts, sorry, PM does not allow plan swap between accounts.

That's a big help, thank you! I'll try to do this for the one I purchased on my new phone.

My current issue still stands, though. I have 2 eSIMs, one in each phone. I'd like to switch my plan from my new eSIM on my new phone to my old eSIM on my old phone.

to get reimbursement, just open ticket with PM using the Orange Chatbot icon on the lower right. (For 2FA when login, you might need to use email to receive if you cannot receive the text on the phone.)  Type the question Submit ticket and select Contact Us to get to ticket open screen

or message them using this link:

That's kind of helpful. Where do I contact PM about getting reimbursed for purchasing an esim?

HI @GiraffeHat1

you cannot move the esim back and forth but PM let you get a replacement esim for free.  You just need to installed it from the app and pay the $5 and and open ticket for support agent to give you back the $5 as a credit.

Yes, that is the trouble for esim, but at least you get replacement esim for free

in case you need to contact support agent, submit a ticket with CS Agent using Chatbot here:

esim cannot be transferred to another phone, but PM does give you the option to get another for free

just download the app on the phone you have now, login , (For 2FA when login, you might need to use email to receive if you cannot receive the text on the phone.), then go to buy a new one from the Account page , Purchase sim card

The app will probably ask you for $5, pay and ask PM to reimburse after
