Hi there,
I lost my credit card while travelling and got send a new one by Visa. Unfortunately, I am locked out of my Gmail account registered with my public mobile account (been a year now:S) and therefore cannot access my pubic mobile account to register my new visa card… what can I do? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

@Dgeselbr - Officially stated in Public Mobile Help Articles as:
"You will often get an answer within an hour. During peak periods, you may need to wait up to 48 hours."
If you know you are on or near the 90 day mark where you are about to lose your phone number and account, I do not see any harm in replying to the ticket today (should be showing in your SENT private messages area).

Hey there JK8. I unfortunately cannot. I emailed a CS agent and a just waiting to hear back from them. Hopefully they work on a Sunday? Let me know if there is anything else I can do?

Yes it has. About a month and a half. I’m travelling so haven’t been able to attend to this untill now. I heard I have about 3 months till my number is given away so hopefully something can work out.

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately I am locked out of my old Gmail account (and cannot regain access as I forgot my question answers:S) so hopefully I can create a new account with my new gmail. I emailed a CS person and just awaiting a reply. Such is life without a real tech support person to talk to;). I appreciate the info though and I think something will work out so many thanks!

Your can still use your Gmail address to login and enter your password. If you entered the wrong password then wait an hour and try again but clear your cache & cookies and go incognito.
If you still having problems then contact a CS_Agent to change your email address and password.

If you know your password then you can still use your email address simply as the login id. If you don't then yes you'll need the help of the support people.

Are you locked out after too many tries? Wait 15 minutes and your account will become unlocked. Try the Forgot your password link if you need to. Use chrome in incognito, but clear your cache first. Let us know if you can get in.

@Dgeselbr you might want to create another new email and then open a ticket with PM and have them to change to login username to your new email address

**Monitor your Community inbox (envelope icon on the top right) after the ticket is opened. CS Agent will reply you there
