Hello,
Asking for a friend. They just joined PM the other day and got offered a winback offer from their previous provider. What is the process like if they decide to port back? Do they get charged for 30 days of service at PM since it's a 30 day plan? Any other restrictions / negatives to be aware of before proceeding?
Thanks

@Basienka best to wait till closer to the end of the 30 days so avoid losing money
However, since Koodo and PM both owned by Telus, have your friend to call Koodo , tell them he will loss money if he migrates back now, sometimes, Koodo can apply a one time credit to offset the cost

They signed up with very good plan!!!
I would say let them try, PM is not perfect but still provides Very good service (ignore today's log in glitch, it dos not happen very often if ever) and close to renewal let them decide; if they port number out - account closes right away. Or remove autopay, let account go into suspense and you have about 88 days to reactivate account without losing plan.

If they joined PM that means they got PM SIM and paid for the next 30 days. That is done and no way to get refund...
If they did not activate autopay they do not have to do anything in order to cancel service. On next renewal theyr account will be suspended due to no pay and will be deleted after 90 days of no pay - number lost.
If they ported number to PM now they have to port it back and PM account will be immediately closed.
Technically they just wasted plan's cost whatever cost is. They better use whatever plans is offering...
If they did set up autopay, log in and deselect autopay.
