Is there a way to make IPhone reset data usage stats every month?

It is really difficult to remember to reset the statistic every month. Is there a way to make it do it automatically?

I assumed that ios would access my data plan to determine the "current period", but it doesn't so the period last forever.

I was happy with the app called “Data Flow” on my iPhone 6S Plus. Had it on my wife’s iPhone 6S Plus as well but since she got an iPhone 8 hand me down, I have not been able to add that app to her phone yet it still working on mine. So I guess I too am in the market for a new app for Iona one that will do a 30 day plan.

Like @hTideGnow , I always suggest My Data Manager.  But I see my friends using DataMan Next, or DataMan , except it is not free, I think

So that app won't work for the OP. There is one for iPhone that members recommend but I don't remember the name? Maybe @softech knows the app I am referring to?

It was made by a previous PM member, was it?

Unfortunately iPhone requires you to reset your data usage every 30 days manually as it only accumulates data usage on an ongoing basis. You can install an app to track usage on a 30 day basis.

Yes you can. 

Automatic reset...no

Manually at the start of each 30 period

Settings, cellular, scroll to bottom, tap reset statistics

Cellular data "Current Period" and "Current Roaming" Period will reset to 0 bytes

Current "call time" period will reset to 0 minutes.
