@1205bulls are you dialing correctly? Remember to remove the (0) from the city code when you're dialing from an international location like Canada.

For example, when calling a landline number in Seoul that is normally listed as 02-1234-5678, you need to dial it like this from Canada: +82-2-1234-5678.

Same idea for cell phone numbers, don't dial 010, make sure you dial +82-10-xxxx-xxxx.

South Korea was on the original 400 minute, the 400 freebie, the 500 freebies and the current 300 minute.

Either 011 or + should work. If an internal area code has a leading zero then don't dial that zero.

@1205bulls south Korea should be included if you got the international LD addon.  You have it, do you?

And it ever work?  you tried to call another S Korean number?  how you make the call?  did you call like this 011 82 XX-XXX XXXX ?

When I make a call, I keep getting a "on the line" tone, but it doesn't seem like it's because the other person is on the phone.

@1205bulls

also...log in on a laptop and you'll see My Account ...look to the right hand side for Add-on Usage ..then click on the little spinner at bottom like this...

It should show how many LD calling minutes you have left. If you don't see any mention of LD, then you've used them up already and need to buy more LD add-on mins.

@1205bulls

That doesn't answer the question...what country are you trying to call?

@1205bulls
