In the US and can’t make calls

Do I leave the phone on airplane mode when I purchased the talk/text package for 15 days?

I can’t make calls or text with airplane mode on

Do a manual search to T-Mobile and try to connect to their 2G network.  I suspect your phone is not getting VoLTE which makes calls on AT&T not possible.

hi @Gov03 since you didn't buy Voice and text but you have roaming data, download VoIP app TextNow and use the app to make calls using Mobile data (or Wifi).  Textnow will give you another 10 digits number but you use it just like a regular phone, just make calls on the app

@Gov03  Yes those instructions are for talk and text . For data I would have asked you to also make sure data roaming was on . But that’s not the case here just talk and text

once you deplane, you should turn OFF airplane mode to be able to use the add-on while in US.

Thank you.  I didn’t purchase the date package, just the phone/text. Can I still do that?

@Gov03 , if you purchase a roaming add-on, you need to make sure your phone is connected to a roaming partner's network, either T-Mobile or AT&T.  The phone should auto connect to one of these networks.  Do not go to airplane mode.

@Gov03  set phone to 4G/LTE and connect to T mobile or AT&T if still not work try phone set to 2G and only connect to T mobile . Turn air plan mode off
