It might feel tempting to just Activate the new SIM card using the activation portal.

 

DON'T do that - if you do, you'll be starting afresh and will lose your prior number and be unable to move it to the new service.  You'll also lose any cycle rewards you may have gained since your time here.

 

Just follow @softech advice on getting a new SIM, then updating the new SIM number in self-serve.

no worry, it is easy, first  get a Public Mobile sim card from

 

Once you got the sim card, go to My Account from ONLY a desktop or laptop computer to request Change Sim card (please note that due to some glitches, accessing change sim care from mobile phone or tablet won't work)

 

After you logged in, unsuspend first if you have suspended your service earlier.

Then click Quick Links on the top right and select Change Sim card and follow the steps:
