Receive calls and SMS in overseas

I’m vacationing in Hong Kong and I cannot receive any incoming calls and SMS to my Public mobile number, any idea how to activate this service?

@Lesterli  No sorry the public sim would have to be back home in phone to forward any calls so that won’t work either unfortunately

Thanks Handy, I do get a local SIM, can I forward my public mobile number to the local SIM (that’s a Hong Kong number) so I can receive calls

@Lesterli , if you have RCS enable on your phone, you could communicate with your contacts via that protocol.  Note that 2FA generally does not use RCS protocol.

@Lesterli  Sorry public mobile only has roaming inthe US and Mexico , for Hong Kong you need travel sim or buy local data sim instead for your trip
