Thanks all. I didn't realize the sim card was adaptable in size! I managed to activate with PM, then to port my old number.

@Phil_Adelphus wrote:@cellphoneuser1 A long time ago, Public wasn't using 3 in 1 sims. If it's one of those old sims, the customer will need to new sim card, or cut sim card or use an adapter.
Except this is a new Public Mobile sim card as the customer is switching from Telus to PM.
We don't know that it's a newer sim card. There's sims from years ago that weren't activated and kept because they were free. It's probably a newer sim but we don't know when the sim card was bought for certrain.

It should fit, the Public Mobile sim cards are 3 in 1, you remove the outer spacer/s until you get down to the size that you need.

@Sabm remove the Telus sim and test only for PM sim card. If the phone still not recognized the sim, the setup was not done well on the system. Ask PM to help using the message link I posted above

if not at all, problem with activation and need PM to help
You won't be able to open proper Chatbot ticket, so just message them

if you are porting, since the port is not completed, the code will send to your Telus number
