Hello,
May I please have information on how the eSIM work? I am currently using a physical SIM and I would like to add a phone number for work using the same phone. How does it work? I was ready to buy the eSIM but will my physical SIM and subscription will be affected? Can someone please guide me and explain the process for me to have 2 numbers in my phone?
Thank you in advance,
Alex

Hi Alex,
You can easily have two numbers on one phone using your physical SIM and an esim. Your current plan isn’t affected. Just activate the esim (usually by scanning a QR code from your carrier or a provider like YohoMobile), and then choose which line to use for calls, texts, or data. It’s that simple!
Hope this helps!

Another option is to download the TextNow app and pick a secondary number for free.
You can make and receive calls & text while connected to wifi or your data.

download the PM app to your cell, then activate a new account using a different email address. Then buy a new esim for your new number.

This would be a matter of opening a new Public Mobile account. It wouldn't affect the account that you already have.
