I need Lower subscription

Hello I am able to find a low subscription in my account. Everything is above $35 and that is too expensive for me at this point in my life. I simply cannot afford it and I need a subscription that is below $35 dollars. But none of the lower subscription are showing up in my subscription management box. My phone subscription expired today and I cannot afford to pay the $35 I need a lower price thank you.

You could unsubscribe and close your PM account. Then you could open up a new account with a cheaper new PM plan. Unfortunately, your telephone number will change with a new account.

If you want to retain your existing telephone number, the best way is to find a cheaper plan with another company and port out your number.

no special way to change plan.  You need to go to My Account, Change Subscription page.  You can only change to plan that is showing there.  You cannot change to plan not showing there

That was an unpleasant surprise when I got that text of the price hike. 20% raise in one go is intense..!

Hello everyone thanks to public Mobile I have gotten a lower subscription in happy I am now paying $25 a month and I'm happy thanks again. Thanks to PB for such fast help. I get to keep my number and get a plan I can afford.

the price hike from $20 to $24 starts after April 1st, not March 14

@Pepe_1029 I can see the lowest plan at $20 which is where I am at. But come March 14, it is automatically going to $24. Unless, I manually change it now with the 'perks'. I did go in 'Incognito' aka a Private Browser window and I don't see the $18 plans just the $20, $23, $26 

hi @Pepe_1029 yes positive!!

downgrade is possible, but you don't get as many choices to downgrade when you are in lower priced plan.  And it is true those $18 and $20 plans are new activation plan only and you won't see them as a downgrade option

Has anyone successfully downgraded? Everywhere I see, people are unable to downgrade

you can only change to plans available on your My Account , Change Subscription page.  If the plan you want is not there, sorry, you cannot change to it

I know the feeling...BUT...I've also had to change a number and after about a week, everything gets back to normal. Let family and friends know your new number along with any important business's (doctor offices)...perdy soon you're happy with the new number. It's a jolt for the first week but gets easier quickly.

unfortunately, you might want to port out your number to another provider for a cheaper plan.  of course, you will lose your rewards by porting out

the only plans you can change to are those you see in your account...seems PM doesn't want us to be able to downsize plans easily. If you don't mind a different cell number, you can just get a new sim and start a new plan using a cheaper plan starting at around $20 for new activation...but you won't have your current cell number.

@Livhig  Sorry we can only change to the plans offered to us in our individual accounts despite what we see on the websites , so if your not seeing anything you like then only other option would be to port out and back in on newly created account with desired plan . That it just create new account with new SIM card and new email and pick a new phone number on desired plan .

sorry @Livhig , downgrade plan is possible, but very unlikely you can downgrade to plan to like $20 or so

you can try downgrade to $35 first, and after you got the $35, maybe they will have option like $25 or so
