Did you mean:

I just switched to the new points reward system and I want to cancel

I just switched mindlessly to the new point system but something tells me it was a mistake.

How can I cancel this change ? I was getting 10$ off my monthly bill.

If I end up paying more monthly after this switch, I'm going to have to seriously reconsider my business with Public, as this is not a good way to treat loyal clients.

I don't care if I have to pay more somewhere else, or whatnot.

I feel insulted that they even make it an option if it has a negative outcome.

This is NOT a good way to do business. Period.

If you think this is a good way to be making business, fine.

Leave me alone now. Thanks.

@hTideGnowwell, that's just, like, your opinion man.

I'm out.

If any employee is reading this you have a few days to get in touch. After that I'm migrating to a new provider altogether.

PS I'm lucky to be in a good financial situation, but I can only imagine what it feels like for people on a tight budget. I cannot possibly stay as a customer knowing Public is offering their old clients a rope to hang themselves so to speak.

HI @bloom84

this was the box you checked and accepted

"opt-ins are final and cannot be reversed"

HI @bloom84   but you supposed to read it before you click on it.  Customers do need to take some responsibility when they click agree to anything.  You can't just do not like it and then no accept what you have accepted.

As I said, I will not be "getting used" to a system that technically robs me of my loyalty rewards.

So either they let me have it the old way, or they lose me as a customer 🙂

Simple as.

So if there's an actual customer service employee reading this, which I highly doubt, give me a call.

Otherwise, adios !

You were given fair warning when you opted for Points.

We all know Points aren't as lucrative as Rewards...but it's something anyhow. See if the others offer anything similar.

We'll likely be here when you get back.

HI @bloom84   When you click migration to the new point system, there was in fact a prompt to ask you to read again before clicking on it.  That said clearly it is a point of no return

Sorry, you have to get used to the new point system

I'm not getting "used" to anything... I'm switching
Switching to a system that makes you poorer should NOT be allowed.

I'm not going to be doing any more business with public if they can't revert.

Get used to Points...there's no going back now.

You had to click through several things to "mindlessly" switch. It's well established now that there is no going back.
