I Purchased 1000 UK Long Distance Minutes over 24 Hours Ago But Not Working

Hello all,

I purchased 1000 UK Long distance minutes over 24 hours ago to call a UK Bank (03457 212 212) however when I call the number I get the automated Public Mobile message saying I do not have enough minutes for the call. I have tried adding +44 and +11 in front of the number I am trying to call but it still doesn't work. I still receive the same "Public Mobile, not enough minutes."

How do I fix this? Do I need to wait more than 24 hours for it to work?

I just dialed your number and call did complete. I dialed +44 3457212212. Co Operative Bank recorded voice instruction.

since it is a call by minutes service on that end, PM UK calling cannot be used to call those number.  the UK calling addon can only be used to call those "free numbers"

you need to find ways to check with them or ask your family in UK to help

It's my local bank and the only way to update my info is to call them. They claim to charge on their end 15 pence per min. Unfortunately I can't contact them via email or facebook messenger to update my contact info.

is this a special number even when calling from UK? if so, I don't think you can call via PM

To call UK, drop the 0 before the area code
For example, calling London number 020 8765 4321 should be just call 01144 20 8765 4321 (you can also try +44 20 8765 4321)
Calling Manchester number 0161 765 4321 should be just 01144 161 765 4321 (you can also try +44 161 7654321

**Calls made to numbers starting with the following UK codes are not included in UK calling from Canada and will not be completed when dialled: 4470, 44870-44879, 44843-44845.

try dialing a different/random UK number to see if you're using the correct dialing code for UK.

added...here's a number for Boston Pizza...if the call connects ask how much for a large Meat Lovers pie...
