Have set up new sim card but cannot use phone

Last payment pre-authorized Nov 11. Next payment due Dec 11th. How long does it take for cell phone to rectivate? Current status is active for account.

I am not the one with the issue it is @londoncalguy 

@bondmi   can you type in the exact error message?

 

It could be a phone unlock code required or a SIM unlock code, depends on the exact message

 

Was the phone used on PM network before?  which network it was used earlier?

That means  it is not active. Message CS_Agent , if you did in fact activate to address the issue.

Why did you get a new sim card? Dod you activate the new sim online.

You should be able to see "active"  in your account.

I tried making a call and it said my phone was not registered

If new sim is activated, reboot phone and should be active and working.

When you swap SIM card, new one should become active within minutes. What you have to do is reboot your phone.

You got a new sim card yet?  If not, get it from Telus or Koodo store.  Or you can also check Amazon.  Do not order from PM online as it could take long for them to deliver

 

Once you got the sim card,   it is quck to link the new sim card to your current My Account

 

Just login My Account, click Quick Link, then select Change SIM card and enter the new sim card number, follow the steps to complete

Usually after 5 mins, with one of two phone reboot and it will be working again
