Does Public still offer unlimited Data at reduced speeds?

IronHistorian

I'm coming up to the limit on my plan, and although in the past I've seen "unlimited data at reduced speeds" tacked into the end of the Data section of my plan details, it's not there anymore... and it isn't on any active offers on the plans page. Is this still a thing? Or am I going to hit a hard limit?

I think that's where they got me. I got a message a couple months ago offering 60GB instead of my then 50GB, for $39, instead of the $40 I was paying as a "limited time offer"... I didn't even think to check if it was unlimited at that time. All the plans had unlimited at that time, so I just assumed.... might be time to switch carriers

I did not find any new nor one for existing customers plan offering unlimited data.
So the answer is No (unless I missed finding 'unlimited' plan).

@IronHistorian   If your plan was originally unlimited and you haven't changed it, it should still be unlimited at reduced speed.  I'd offer to check mine, which is also unlimited, except that I'm getting the interminable "Loading....." when I try to log in to my account.  Edit - finally got in, when I tap on "Change Subscription" it still says unlimited there for my current plan.

hi @IronHistorian they only offer that on Canada only 5G plan. I think all 5G plans they are offering now are the Camada-UIS-Mex plan and hence no unlimited reduced speed

and they have new plans all the time, keep an eye

Public Mobile is no longer advertising any such plans.  For plans that don't advertise unlimited data, the data will stop working once it has been entirely consumed.
