Do I have to opt-in for Public Points when I change plans?

My account is nearly 2 years old and I have Loyalty Rewards. Do I have to opt-in for Public Points when changing plans?

Thank you

NOOOOOO!

Changing plans does not have requirements of selecting points as rewards.

Your rewards are associated with the Account, not plan.

@aaronpearson   No you don't and shouldn't opt into the new points as it's irreversible once done.

Changing plans doesn't affect your old rewards but you should Change at Next Renewal to avoid starting a new cycle and paying for a new plan as PM doesn't prorate for unused portions of your current plan.  Plus making an immediate plan change, will also mean you won't be able to use the rewards as a discount but have to wait until next renewal instead.

@aaronpearson , NO, opting to the new reward system is optional for those of us on the old reward system.  If you are at the 2 year mark you are better off staying on the old reward system.

No. And don't. And right now there's a problem with plan changes. Wait until they might figure it out (if they ever do).
